Project Description
Mechanized renewal of the railway track in the section between Zmeyovo and Stara Zagora from km239+400 to km252+325 with a total length of 12,925m and switch No. 1 at Stara Zagora Station on the 4th railway line
Construction, 2nd group, 1st category
Preparation of a detailed design.
Disconnection of the power supply at km, dismantling of the rail-sleeper junction, transportation, disassembly, and arrangement.
Mechanized alignment of the ballast bed with the creation of approaches for laying new track sections.
Installation of new railway track using inventory rails and reinforced concrete sleepers with resilient fastenings, reinforcement of track position and leveling machine.
Mechanized screening of the ballast bed using an elevator train pulled by a locomotive and without an elevator train in certain sections.
Leveling and reinforcement of the railway track after screening and re-ballasting using hopper-distributor compositions.
Dismantling of the existing left-hand switch No. 1 at Stara Zagora Station and its replacement with a new one, including the switch apparatus.
Rehabilitation of existing structures, construction and extension of retaining walls, rehabilitation of watercourses, slope stabilization in trenches.
Excavation for earthworks and installation of reinforced concrete channels, formation of project berms and slopes.
Supply and installation of sand and precast reinforced concrete elements of types EKT and LPS.
Monolithic filling of joints, creation of cuttings and embankments.
Second-leveling of the track.
Construction of continuous welded rail track and ATZ welds.
Compaction of the ballast bed using a dynamic stabilizer.
Third-leveling, track alignment.
Installation of elastic pedestrian and crossover flooring.
Dismantling and installation of contact network columns and foundations.
Dismantling of old and construction of new signaling and interlocking equipment.
Neutralization of voltages in the track circuit bonding if necessary.
Rehabilitation of level crossings at km 248+785 and restoration of signaling systems.
