Project Description
Design and execution of major repairs on the Main Gas Pipeline DN1000 and repair and restoration works on the underwater crossings of the Main Gas Pipeline DN1000 and transit gas pipelines - T1 DN1200, T-2 (looping) DN1200 near the Dobrichka River in the territory of Vrachantsi village, Dobrich municipality, within the operational area "Valchi Dol".

The following activities have been carried out:
Design: General explanatory memorandum, Engineering-geological surveys, Engineering-hydrological surveys, Geodetic surveys, Technological design, Electrochemical protection design, Hydraulic design, Fire safety design, Waste management plan, Health and safety plan, Documentation for affected properties.
Construction and installation works include:
Excavation of trenches, Excavation with excavator on spoil, Cleaning of riverbed on spoil, Exposing the gas pipeline, Reinforcement of optical and existing cables, Dewatering, Cleaning and sandblasting of steel pipes, Installation of thermal sleeves for DN1000 and DN1220, Cutting and installation of expanders for DN1000 and DN1220, Reinforcement with crushed stone and backfilling with rocky soil, Construction of a concrete threshold 20/2/1m, Shaping the riverbed, Supply and installation of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system.
