Description of the Project
Rehabilitation of the railway sections Skutare-Orizovo and Straldzha-Tserkovski, part of the project "Rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure along the Plovdiv-Burgas railway line - Phase 2", under separate position 1: Rehabilitation of the Skutare-Orizovo railway section; Operational Program "Transport and Transport Infrastructure" (OPTTI) 2014-2020.
Construction of 2 groups, category 1.
Development of a detailed design.
The length of the section from Skutare to Orizovo is 27.387 km. The intermediate stations in the section are Manole and Belozem. The section includes 4 bridges, 9 level crossings, and 40 watercourses.
Regarding the upper construction of the railway, the following activities are carried out:
Dismantling of the railway tracks and turnouts, supply and laying of new railway turnouts, supply and laying of new railway tracks with new reinforced concrete sleepers (1600 pcs/km) and elastic fastenings in straight and curved sections with R>650m - 1st category - ballastless track, supply and laying of new railway tracks with new reinforced concrete sleepers (1720 pcs/km) and elastic fastenings in curved sections with R<650m - 1st category - ballastless track.
Regarding the lower construction of the railway, the following activities are carried out: formation and compaction of the subgrade; supply and laying of concrete gutters type EKT 200/50 on a sand base of 5 cm, with grouting of the joints between the elements; supply and laying of geotextile and geogrid;
Repair of the main platforms at Manole and Belozem stations; The operating points (Manole, Belozem, and Orizovo stations) are equipped with route-relay interlockings of type N-68, and Skutare station is equipped with a route-relay interlocking of type WSSB. The intermediate sections are equipped with axle counter block systems without intermediate signals. In the section, 5 level crossings are equipped with automatic level crossing signaling, 4 level crossings with automatic level crossing devices with barriers, and 7 level crossings with electric barriers in the station area.
Repair of the Reception Building and Warehouse at Manole station and rehabilitation of the technical building - Manole station, Rehabilitation of Post No. 1 and Post No. 2, sanitary facilities, and building near the warehouse and Manole station, Repair of the Technical Building, Post No. 1 and Post No. 2, Reception Building at Belozem station; Rehabilitation of Stop - Opulchentsi1.
Construction of drainage systems with diameters of f200, f315, and f400 at Belozem station and the Skutare-Manole intermediate section;
Installation of new level crossing decks; Repair of railway bridges;
Rehabilitation of the contact network, safety installations, and telecommunications:
Activities related to the contact network:
Securing the contact network - Isolation of the contact network, dismantling of contact wires, poles, and foundations, installation of sectional insulators, permanent grounding, and raising of the old contact network to the supporting wire; Construction of foundations for poles; Installation of brackets, contact wire, supporting wire, return conductor, droppers and dropper clamps, compensating devices, venting drains, earthing, intermediate anchors; Installation and adjustment of air gaps; Adjustment of the contact wire; Numbering of poles and installation of signs.
