Project Description
Reconstruction of Poduyane Railway Complex, including preparation of working drawings and details, and exercising author supervision
1.1. Isolated position No. 1 "Reconstruction of Poduyane Railway Complex, including preparation of working drawings and details, and exercising author supervision" encompasses the reconstruction and modernization of the reception building of Poduyane railway station, passenger and surrounding space. The reception building of Poduyane, passenger has a total area of 1,085 sqm, gross floor area of 1,811 sqm, and a basement with an area of 936 sqm. The scope of work includes the following main activities:
1. Preparation and coordination of working design, working drawings, and details for all parts of the Technical Project for Poduyane railway station in accordance with the requirements of the Client and based on the approved technical project; updating working drawings and details during construction in case of the need for additions due to the actual condition discovered during the uncovering of individual elements in the building and/or due to changes in regulatory requirements and/or preparation of joint drawings and notes for the interface points with interacting projects and/or addressing comments from the Notifying Authority during the preparation of working drawings and details in accordance with the requirements of the Technical Supervision and Inspection Order (TSIO); obtaining all necessary approvals and permits in accordance with applicable Bulgarian legislation for the working drawings; in case of substantial deviations from the approved technical project, preparing the project documentation required for submitting changes for approval under the conditions and procedure of Article 145 within the deadlines specified in Article 144, Paragraph 3 of the Spatial Planning Act (SPA) and issuing an order to supplement the issued construction permit;
2. Exercising author supervision during construction within the meaning of Article 162, Paragraph 2 of the Spatial Planning Act (SPA);
3. Preparation of Safety Report in accordance with Ordinance No. 57 for achieving operational compatibility of the national railway system with the railway system of the European Union;
4. Preparation, organization, and maintenance of the construction site, including primary cleaning of the basement, restaurant, etc., from domestic, construction, and other waste; implementation of safety and health measures;
5. Demolition works, management of construction waste;
6. Renovation and structural strengthening of individual elements of the load-bearing structure, replacement of the roof structure, shaft construction, reinforcement of openings;
7. Partial functional rearrangement of premises;
8. Measures for providing accessible environment, including construction of a ramp;
9. Dismantling, supply, and installation of new HVAC installations;
10. Dismantling, supply, and installation of water supply and sewerage installations;
11. Dismantling of the electrical installation, supply, and installation of high-voltage electrical installation, grounding and lightning protection installation, site lighting;
12. Installation of low-voltage installations - structural cabling, clock system installation, video surveillance, fire alarm system, notification system, security alarm system, access control system for service premises;
13. Complete architectural renovation of the reception building and canopy above the first platform;
14. Complete architectural renovation of a single-storey service building with an area of 37 sqm;
15. Partial repair of a three-storey technical building with a gross floor area of 329.1 sqm and a transformer substation with an area of 46.2 sqm;
16. Measures to improve energy efficiency - thermal insulation, replacement of windows;
17. Parking arrangement and landscaping;
18. Execution of hydro melioration facilities - automated irrigation system for the green areas around the building;
19. Conducting laboratory tests, tests, samples, individual and 72-hour trial runs;
20. Commissioning - preparation and submission of as-built documentation for the project and obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy in accordance with the procedure specified in the Spatial Planning Act (SPA);
21. Implementation of information and publicity measures;
22. Ensuring an accessible environment.
